Pastor Jim and family started attending our church in 2008 and became members in 2010. Pastor Jim was called to be our Family Life Pastor in January of 2018. As the Family Life Pastor, Jim will be handling the visitation for the church as well as administering the day to day workings of the church. He will also be handling special services like, funerals, weddings, etc.
Jim and his wife Tammy were married in June 1989, and have a son, Joshua and a daughter, Rebecca. The Hofmans moved to South Dakota in 2008 so Jim could be the Chaplain and Bible Teacher at Sunshine Bible Academy.
Jim has a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL; a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies from Western Seminary in Portland, Or, and a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Technology Enhanced Teaching from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS.
Pastor Jim loves to spend time with his family, read, play golf and cheer on the Nebraska Cornhuskers for football and the Kansas University Jayhawks for basketball.
